Inauguration of SAG Girls’ Hostel

After a year of dedicated work, the girls’ hostel for scholars was successfully completed in the year 2024.
On March 3rd , SAG family cheerfully celebrated the inauguration for marking the significant achievement
with the intention of serving more and to be more in the community. The mass was celebrated by Fr.
Girish, SJ accompanied by Fr. Bosco Thang Pi, SJ and Fr. Buddy Haryadi, SJ. We're grateful to our generous donors for
furnishing the scholar girls with a comfortable living space, enabling them to concentrate better on their
studies and feel embraced and valued. This fosters an environment where they can discover God
through love.
Following the mass, we conducted blessing rituals and were honored to receive the keys and documents
from the construction company, 93 Ideal, represented by U Than Htike, signifying the completion of the
project. Fr. Girish SJ expressed gratitude to the hardworking construction team, particularly mentioning
Maung Thet Soe San. He also gave recognition to Fr. Mark Raper SJ and Fr. Vinny Joseph SJ for initiating
the hostel's construction and extended appreciation to all the benefactors who made it possible.
